Help Feed Children in Need This Summer

The North Suburban YMCA is partnering with Project Bread as well as the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education once again to bring healthy lunches to Woburn kids all summer. We will provide lunches to children who usually depend on school lunches and might not have the resources for a midday meal throughout the summer.

Free Lunches Available for Children at Green Street Pool

YMCA

The North Suburban YMCA has once again teamed up with Project Bread to offer free lunches to children this summer at the Green Street Pool.

Beginning the week of June 28, the lunches are available from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Fridays (except July 5) for the duration of the summer. The lunch consists of a protein, a fruit, a vegetable, and a milk everyday, but the specific lunches vary. The lunches are available for all children under 18, as well as anyone categorized as “special needs”. The lunches need to be eaten onsite, but families are welcome to join them (i.e. the parents can accompany the kids, though you have to be under 18 for the lunches).
