Volunteer Opportunity of the Week!

Babysitting

The North Suburban YMCA is a family center, and that means there are a lot of kids in the building every day. The babysitting room, Child Watch, offers parents a safe and fun place to leave their children while they exercise or take other children to Y classes. If you like to play with kids and help with crafts and activities, this opportunity is right for you! Help is particularly needed during the morning hours (8:30 am to 1 pm or any time in between).

Family Movie Night at the Y!

The Smurfs Movie

Looking for a fun family night?  Join the North Suburban YMCA for a Family Movie Night at 6pm on Saturday for a showing of The Smurfs Movie.  Be sure to register in advance, because space is limited!  The movie is free for members, $5 for program members, and $10 for non-members.  Each registered participant will receive free popcorn!

Is your CPR certification about to expire?  Have you always wanted to learn CPR?  Now is the perfect time to solve both those problems!

There will be a CPR class offered at the North Suburban YMCA on Sunday, January 29, at 2 pm.  Space is very limited, so call the YMCA at 781-935-3270 today to reserve your spot!

American Red Cross

This Friday, January 6, the North Suburban YMCA is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive in conjunction with Dunkin' Donuts.  All those who donate blood will receive a pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee as a special thank you gift.  If you are interested in donating blood, please stop by the Aerobics Room between 1 and 6 pm.
