Mayor Galvin has called a public hearing in the city council chambers to discuss the proposed plan of buying the Spence Farm property to preserve it as a wilderness area. The plan would cost 2.7 million dollars and would purchase a valuable 7.6 acre plot of land.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 9th at 7pm in the City Council Chambers. The meeting has been rescheduled twice in recent weeks, so it is a good idea to check this page and the city website often for the most recent information before making plans.
