Campaign Help
Things are really heating up on the campaign trail. Voters are upset with the status quo on Beacon Hill and don’t feel that we should be paying more in taxes while Massachusetts continues to increase spending, but cut services and raise local taxes. They understand that the only way to change Beacon Hill is to elect new representatives.
With just over 100 days until Election Day, I need your help to succeed. To make sure that the voters remember me when they vote, I need people to make phone calls and help with literature drops – especially in Woburn where my opponent is better known. Phone calls are my most pressing need. I’m spending most of my time knocking on doors and meeting the voters. While I would love to knock on every door multiple times, it just isn’t feasible. Therefore, I need people to call the voters to make sure my message (and name) gets out. Through phone calls we can also find other volunteers, lawn sign locations, and those willing to host coffees and BBQs for the campaign.
Also, with the amount of candidates running in all the races this year as well as the down economy, it is harder than ever to raise money to pay for all the mailings that I would like to do so literature drops are essential. It is a free, but time consuming, way to get the literature to the people’s homes. If you have ideas for fundraisers, or would like to host a fundraiser for me (or know someone who does), please let me know (however, if you are a public employee, state law does not allow you to be involved in fundraising, although you can donate if you wish).
Will you help my campaign? If so, please respond with how you can help.
Thanks,
