Danversbank Collecting Backpacks and Back-to-School Supplies for Children in Need
Danversbank (https://www.danversbank.com) is pleased to announce that its annual backpack and school supply drive will benefit three regional organizations this year, each of which offer support services to children in need. This year’s beneficiaries are Healing Abuse Working for Change (HAWC), Horizons for Homeless Children and Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless. Danversbank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Danvers Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: DNBK).
New supplies may be dropped off at all Danversbank locations from July 19th through August 20th. The organizations are in particular need of backpacks this year; other school supplies they will gladly accept include, but are not limited to, the following:
Glue sticks
Scissors
Ballpoint pens
Colored pencils
No. 2 pencils
Erasers
Crayons
Highlighters
Notebooks
Pocket folders
Construction paper
Hand sanitizer
Scotch tape
Rulers
Tissues
Sharpies
Post-it notes
Calculators
The supplies will be delivered to the organizations in mid-August, allowing ample time to distribute them to students before the school year starts. Danversbank drop-off locations are as follows:
