Flood Damage Meeting at City Hall Thursday
Mayor Galvin and Congressman Edward Markey have arranged a meeting at Woburn City Hall in the City Council Chambers on Thursday, April 15th, from 7pm to 9pm to address recent flood damages.
The Mayor, some members of Markey's staff, and officials from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), and the Small Business Administration (SBA) will be on hand to talk about government assistance programs that are available to people in Woburn and the surrounding areas.
Affected individuals can initiate the application for assistance process by calling the FEMA Teleregistration numbers: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired, or registering online at www.fema.gov. The toll-free Teleregistration numbers are operating from 6:30 a.m. until 1 a.m.
