Free Summer Concert Series at Horn Pond
The Concert Series Committee is proud to announce the 2011 Horn Pond Summer Concert Series! The Horn Pond Summer Concert Series is a collection of free concerts designed to promote community spirit organized by SCI, the North Suburban YMCA and WREN (Woburn Residents’ Environmental Network), and sponsored by local businesses. A special thank you goes out to the City of Woburn, Tucker Quinn and the Woburn DPW for providing a stage and helping with other concert logistics.
This year’s concert series will again be held at Ice House Park at Horn Pond. Ice House Park is the name of the flat grassy area that runs along Sturgis Street, to the right of the boat ramp. For your comfort and enjoyment, please remember to bring folding chairs or a blanket and insect repellant.
We have an exciting lineup of bands scheduled this year! All the concerts will be held on a Friday during the summer from 7 to 9 p.m., unless a rain date is needed.

Jandee Lee Porter Band sponsored by McCue Garden Center. Jandee Lee Porter is a singer/songwriter born and raised in a small town in the Connecticut River Valley, Jandee Lee Porter has cultivated a love for music. Squeezebox Stompers sponsored by Michael de la Maza. The Squeezebox Stompers play a blend of Roadhouse Roots, Blues, Cajun, and Zydeco music all over New England and the Northeast. The Squeezebox Stompers play acoustically or electrically and are available as a trio, quartet or quintet. They play accordion, keyboards, lap steel, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass and drums.
