SCI Woburn Youth Council Debuts "Speak Up for Healthy Teen Relationships!"

SCI's Woburn Youth Council hosted an evening screening of its recently completed Public Service Announcement (PSA)  "Speak Up for Healthy Teen Relationships!" Saturday evening at the Boys & Girls Club of Woburn.  The PSA was presented during an evening of activities set up for Woburn teens.  A great group of teens joined Woburn Youth Council members to think about how to make teens in Woburn safer, healthier and happier.  

Woburn Youth Council members created the PSA and planned the night's events as part of a Speak Up! project planned with fellow SCI Youth Council members in Dorchester and Lynn.  Youth Councils in each communities shot PSAs and created events to make teens in their communities more aware of the dangers of abusive and unhealthy relationships.  The projects have been funded by a Global Youth Service Day grant from the Massachusetts Service Alliance.
