Y Leaders Club Kick-off event!

Calling teens ages 13-18 to join the YMCA in a movie night extravaganza!  Friday November 20 the North Suburban YMCA will be showing Star Trek in its Teen Room from 6:30-9:00pm (for those who question the choice in movie it's the Star Trek released earlier this year)!  The event will kick start Y Leaders Club!

What is Y Leaders club?

Y Leaders Club is FREE for teens ages 13-18 years old.  Y Leaders is a teen run club with a focus on developing leadership and social skills while participating in service learning in a fun environment!  In the club teens will have the opportunity to plan projects in the YMCA community and in their own community based on their interests.  Y Leaders Club advisers are also available to the club for advice and recommendations as needed.

Club hours are Tuesdays 6:00-7:00pm with extra time for projects and events.  Hours may also qualify for community service.
