Summer Concert Series

Seeking Summer Concert Series Committee Members

It might not be American Idol, but YOU can pick the bands and artists that will entertain Woburn this summer! All you have to do is listen, pick and watch.  SCI is looking for music enthusiasts of all kinds to find new and interesting bands and help plan the 2012 Summer Concert Series.

Volunteer Opportunity of the Week!

North Suburban YMCA

The North Suburban YMCA is looking for a few volunteers to help out at their Family Movie Night on Saturday, January 28.  This event is open YMCA members and the community.  If you are interested in volunteering at this event, or for more information about volunteer opportunities at the YMCA, please contact Rebekah at rscaduto@ymcaboston.org.

Registration Volunteers Needed!

SCI is celebrating ten years at the 2012 SCI Social Capitalist Luncheon taking place on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.  We are looking for volunteers to help check guests in at the registration table from 10:30am - 12:15pm.  This is a great networking event!  Volunteers are welcome to stay for the luncheon and awards ceremony with a complimentary ticket!  If interested, please contact Karen Rice at krice@socialcapitalinc.org on or before February 16, 2012.

Got the winter blues? Join our Garden Club!

Feeling down after this long winter? Well, think ahead to the great things you can do in the Springtime! NuPath is starting a Garden Club and we're looking for volunteers to join!

The Garden Club will be responsible for beautifying all of NuPath's locations, such as our offices and residential homes located throughout Middlesex County. Garden Club members will plant and maintain fllower gardens at these locations in order to make them beautiful places for our clients to live and work.

Want to make a new friend?

NuPath is looking for volunteers to spend one-on-one time with some of the individuals we serve. Some examples of what this one-on-one time could consist of are: playing Yahtzee with a woman in the evenings, accompanying a young man on outings into the community, or doing arts and crafts with someone in our Day Habilitation program.

Whatever you do, it will surely be a rewarding and fun experience. So, if you love to meet new people and make new friends then contact NuPath today!

Event Committee at NuPath

NuPath's Annual Taste of Spring event is quickly approaching, and we are trying to make it bigger and better than ever this year! In light of this, we are currently looking for volunteers to be a part of a committee to help prepare for this wonderful night.

Committee duties will include: assisting with ticket sales, working directly with restaurants involved in the event, event planning, and night of the event activities.
