Get Ready for a Beatles Invasion in Woburn!

BeatleTracksThe Beatles are coming! The Beatles are coming! Well, not the actual Beatles, but a band called BeatleTracks. This band is scheduled to play at Horn Pond in Woburn on Saturday, August 20 starting at 6:45 p.m. This tribute band is based here in Massachusetts and this performance is being sponsored by Dunkin Donuts of Woburn Center. They are committed to performing the authentic sounding music of the Beatles live in concert (including the Beatles solo careers).  Formed in 2002 the band was drawn together by their love of the Beatles and the desire to keep alive the sounds that have brought them so much joy.

The McTeggarts Will Have You Doing an Irish Jig!

The McTeggarts, sponsored by Dunkin Donuts of Woburn Center, will be playing their traditional Irish folk music this Friday night, August 6th at Horn Pond from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.  This is a concert you won't want to miss!

The McTeggarts create traditional Irish folk music that makes you want to stand up and join in. The band made up of Jimmy Byrne from Cork and Mike O'Brien from Dublin come together with their dulcet tones and superb musicianship and have become one of the most sought after folk Irish bands in America and abroad. Beat Soup’s ska-influenced stylings include both instrumental dance pieces and vocal numbers.  Playing originals and covers, the 8-piece dance band from Boston feature a classic sax/trombone/trumpet horn section as well as guitar, keyboard and drums.

The Concert Series Committee (pictured to the left) is proud to announce the 2010 SCI Summer Concert Series!  The Summer Concert Series is a collection of free concerts designed to promote community spirit organized by SCI and sponsored by local businesses.
